Dear RTBU HSR Representative,
I have organised dedicated RTBU Health & Safety Representatives refresher training to bring together our key representatives across the network to support and help tackle health and safety issues head on.
This training will be run in conjunction with the Victorian Trades Hall OHS Reps team of professional WorkSafe approved trainers and as such meets the requirements of S.69 of the Victorian OHS Act. This means that provided you give your employer more than 2 weeks notice, you have a right to attend on paid work time and they have an obligation to cover any associated costs.
We will be running sessions between 8am-5pm on 11 & 12 July at Victoian Trades Hall (54 Victoria St Carlton) and will be fully catered for breakfast & lunch.
