Climate Impacts at Work Survey

The RTBU has partnered with RMIT University and Friends of the Earth along with other unions to support research into the impacts our changing workplace environments are having and are likely to have on workers.

Over recent years countless members have raised issues caused by extremes in our climate making our transport network vulnerable and less reliable. This has potential to impact how we work and the utility of our services.

By participating in this research RTBU members can play an active role in providing the insight that will dive decision making into the future. Research outcomes will further provide the RTBU with a platform to better understand and help resolve issues on terms controlled by transport workers.

The Climate Impacts at Work survey project is being coordinated by Friends of the Earth with six unions and RMIT University.

This research is being undertaken to understand how workers in different industries experience the impacts of climate change which are already unfolding and affecting people in their workplaces. It will ask about your experiences of different climate impacts, and the responses to deal with these impacts that you would like to see from employers and governments.

If you decide to participate, the survey will take between 10-20 minutes. The majority of questions are optional, so the amount of time it takes is up to you.

By clicking 'yes' below, you provide acknowledgement and consent that:

- I have read the information available at this link.
- I agree to participate in the research project as described.
- I am over 18 years of age
